About
I am working as a data scientist at University of California Berkeley.
I developed end-to-end machine learning models to tackle challenges at the intersection of science (publications), technology (patents) and business.
Driven by my interest in AI and innovation, my aim is to improve the accessibility and interpretability of extensive text-based datasets.
I am also supervising Engineering Master students on Machine Learning projects (such as computer vision, time series predictions, or LLM fine-tuning projects).
I graduated in 2022 with a Master degree in Optimization from
UC Berkeley.
as well as a Master degree in Artificial Intelligence from
CentraleSupelec.
Before that, I also completed a bachelor of Engineering at
CentraleSupelec.
Projects
- Search engine hosted on hugging face (litterature review tool): which uses LLMs
to facilitate and optimize the research of scientists, inventors, scientific papers, patents and companies.
- Patent-paper-pairs (working paper, data available on Zenodo: https://zenodo.org/records/7996195): created a database of Patent-paper-pairs using
machine learning and LLMs, which provides pairs of papers and patents written by the same individuals
describing the same invention, in collaboration with Matt Marx .
- Scientist-inventors crosswalk (first author, submission currently at Science):
Created an SQL database of hundreds of millions of papers and patents and developed an
end-to-end Random Forest using structured and textual data to identify scientists-inventors,
in collaboration with Lee Fleming .
- Image duplicates in Alzheimer’s research (working paper): Studied "sloppiness" in Alzheimer’s research
by analyzing papers’ images using ImageTwins software.
